... Hip Hip Hooray, It's the 100th Day of School ...

We're 100 days
 SMARTER!!!

Anticipation builds from the very first day as we count each day we attended school, one by one, until we reached the 100th day.
Now it's time for a celebration!

Today we celebrated our 100th day
of school and boy was it a busy one!
We worked non-stop on all of our fun 100th day activities!

Here’s just a little peek at some of the fun we had...

Oh my!!!  Ms. Dana greets us at the door!

Too cute!

 Who are these mustache guys?
Quite dashing...

              ...and debonair!

                                                                      Incredible!
                                                             The Golden Girls!

 Young at Heart!

On the 100th day, we talk about all the different ways you can count to 100.
You can count by ones, twos, five's, and tens.

We even did 100 different exercises!

Our most FAVORITE 100th day book!
Have you read it?

We made our 100 day trail mix!
What a fun way to teach basic math concepts to children including
counting, sorting, measuring, sequencing, graphing, classifying, etc.

The class has 100 pieces of snack on the 100th day!
Chex cereal, Raisins, Coco Puffs Cereal, Twisty Pretzels, Oyster Crackers,
Chocolate Chips, Cheerios, Goldfish Crackers, Kix's Cereal, Mini Marshmallows.
Items were put out on individual plates. Children take 10 pieces from each plate. At their seat they have a tally sheet with listed items. Together we count each food and enter 10 on each line.
Then we count by tens to reach 100.

The kids really loved this snack!

Even the teachers get in the act!

We brought in our collections of 100 things.
This collection was small enough to fit in a gallon size plastic bag.

Some old-fashion fun & games!

Celebrating the 100th day of school can be so much fun!

There was TOO much fun to be had at Lunch time too!

 It's SNOWING outside for recess!!!

Look!!!
Ms. Guzzi joined in on the 100th day celebration!

The 100th Day of School
is a great day enjoyed by all!

A HUNDRED HUGS TO EVERYONE!!!
