Such a delightful book that teaches kids it's okay to be different.
Tacky stands out among his penguin friends - he doesn't count in order,
he doesn't wear clothes like they do, he plops instead of gracefully diving
into the water, and he doesn't sing well.
While other penguins in the book conform to appropriate penguin (or human)
behavior with names like "Goodly, Lovely, Angel, Neatly" and "Perfect,"
Tacky marches to the beat of a different drummer.
When some predators come to the area to snatch penguins to sell, they are so
taken aback and frightened off by Tacky, they leave the penguins alone.
Now Tacky's friends are so thankful for his quirks because it saved their lives!
Ready on the set?
I love these Penguin Hats!
